After intensive preparations, our company is now about to take the step towards independence as a listed Daimler Truck Holding AG. Subject to final organisational steps, the Daimler Truck share will be traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for the first time on 10 December 2021.

After graduating from high school in 1978, he did an apprenticeship as a banker. Post his apprenticeship, in 1980, he studied economics at the University of Mannheim, Germany, and graduated with a master’s degree in economics in 1985. After two years of working as a Management Consultant, he joined the then Daimler-Benz AG in 1987.

Ola Källenius
Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AGOla Källenius was born on June 11, 1969, in Västervik/Sweden. After obtaining Abitur (university entrance examination) at Grammar School of Danderyd (Sweden), he did his military service in the Swedish army in 1988/89. From 1989 until 1993 he studied at the Stockholm School of Economics (Master in Finance and Accounting) and the CEMS Programm (Master of International Management) at the University of St. Gallen. He joined the then Daimler-Benz AG as Trainee within the International Management Associate Program in 1993.
